While rescuing sailors from merchant ship MV Sounion in the Red Sea on Wednesday, French destroyer FS Chevalier Paul neutralised a Houthi one-way attack USV.
In 1943, HMS Umbra claimed to have scored a unique victory by torpedoing a plane. When Umbra hit an enemy ship in the Mediterranean with a torpedo, a column of fire shot 1,000 feet in the air in front of three low-flying escort planes. Only two planes emerged.
