HMS Evadne (FY 009), a converted armed yacht commissioned as an anti-submarine vessel by the Royal Navy, seen here in HM Dockyard Gibraltar in 1945. Evadne served in the Irish Sea and Bermuda until being reallocated to the Commander-in-Chief Mediterranean, arriving on 12 March 1944 in Gibraltar, where she was based until hostilities ended.
