As the Soviets tried during the Cold War days, China is trying to do so. Aiming to have the second largest no of CBGs, China is determined to threaten the US Navy’s current unchallenged position in the world.

China is building a 4th aircraft carrier, known as Type 001A, which will be larger and more advanced than its previous three carriers. The new carrier will be 315 meters long, 70 meters wide, and have a displacement of around 50,000 tons. It will feature advanced electromagnetic catapults and arresting gear, allowing it to operate more advanced aircraft.
