The so called spy ship, registered on Lloyds List, reports that MV Eagle S is also carrying intelligence-gathering equipment (ELINT and COMINT), is suspected of severing the power lines between Finland and Estonia in the Baltic. The ship, of the ‘Black fleet’ vessels exporting sanctioned Russian oil, and the tanker has also previously failed multiple safety, environmental and technical certification inspections. Finish services have seized the oil tanker MV Eagle, S suspected of deliberately severing undersea cables. With its crew of 20 still on board, the vessel is being moved to a protected anchorage in Svartbäck.
