Today marks the 75th anniversary of the commencement of the Korean War. In the early stages of the conflict, the US Navy swiftly deployed aircraft carriers and other warships to halt adversary advances. These forces launched airstrikes, conducted bombardments, and helped ground troops secure the Pusan Perimeter, setting the stage for the Inchon landing in September 1950, which guaranteed the survival of the Republic of Korea.
