HMS Prince of Wales will lead CSG25 deployment next year while HMS Queen Elizabeth will head to Rosyth for refit The aircraft carriers have to be dry-docked for Lloyds hull inspection and certification every 5 years. HMSQNLZ was first floated off in 2014 – her refit will include the 2nd inspection dry docking. Her time in dry dock will be relatively short as the carriers have been well-maintained and upgraded in an on-going programme in a cost-effective manner.
