Inocea (Private Operator Group), announced the signing of an agreement to acquire the United Kingdom’s Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessels Wave Knight and Wave Ruler, two of the most capable fast fleet tankers ever operated by a NATO navy.

RN QF 5.25-inch naval gun turret being installed or prepared for installation at a shipyard on HMS Argonaut. The photo was taken at the Mare Island Naval Shipyard in California in late 1943 or early 1944, where the ship was undergoing extensive repairs after being severely damaged by two Italian torpedoes in December 1942.

The Atlas advanced floating dry dock, which was christened by Bollinger Shipyards and General Dynamics Electric Boat.It is designed to support the U.S. Navy’s Columbia-class submarine program.Floating dry docks are used to lift vessels out of the water for maintenance and repairs, providing access to their hulls and undercarriages.
