The United States Navy will have to make do with fewer aircraft carriers in 2026. USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75), the eighth Nimitz-class carrier, is slated to begin her multi-year Refueling and Complex Overhaul at Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Newport News Shipbuilding.
