Reuters confirms the deployment of Ticonderoga-class cruiser USS Lake Erie (CG-70) and Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Newport News (SSN-750) to the coast of Venezuela. Newport News (SSN-750) is a Flight II Los Angeles-class with Tomahawk VLS.
