(Soviet design dating from the 1960s)……..Of greater strategic significance, Russian warships of the ‘Mediterranean Sea Task Force’ previoulsy based in Tartus, have put to sea and in holding pattern off the coast (pending likely long voyage back to Baltic Sea).
