HMS Trent has made the Royal Navy’s first ever interception of a narco-sub during operations in the Caribbean Sea, working with the USCG. The patrol ship seized £160m of cocaine from the semi-submersed vessel south of the Dominican Republic on the 26th August.
The Royal Navy has 2 of these essential Damage Repair Instruction Units to train our sailors how to recover the ship after damage. They are in HMS Raleigh in Plymouth and HMS Excellent in Portsmouth.
