During a mandatory test on board 🇩🇰HDMS Niels Juel (alongside in Naval Station Korsør) (Denmark), a Harpoon missile booster activated and cannot currently be deactivated. There is a risk the missile may launch and air and sea space around the area has been closed. Danes have form for this – in 1982 an older variant of Harpoon was accidentally launched from the frigate HDMS Peder Skram. It flew 21km, destroyed 4 cottages and damaged 130 other buildings fortunately with no loss of life.

Mobile Riverine Force. The US Naval Ship, Benewah was used by the MRF as a troop ship, berthing all the troops of the MRF and is equipped with a floating pier for all smaller boats. On the top of the ship is a helipad to accommodate air traffic. September 24, 1967.
