LNS Sūduvis (Ex-HMS Quorn) towed out of Appledore Shipyard yesterday to complete conversion for Lithuanian Navy at a yard in Lithuania.Work on the ship was suspended following the collapse of Harland & Wolff. New owners Navantia UK did not take on the project. Some local businesses still owed money by H&W.

The CO of HMS Astute was given a traditional send-off in a Cornish gig rowed by his officers as he left the submarine for the final time. HMS Astute begins a multi-year Mid Life Re-Validation Period (MLRP) in Devonport.
