The Navy Fleet Command said March 7 that Taiwan, Oliver Hazard Perry Class frigate Chang Chien had a barrel explosion during a 76mm rapid-fire anti-aircraft firing training that morning, but no casualties were reported.

A vast jig & steel structure that is part of the Dreadnought submarine programme has been transported to our shipyard in Barrow-in-Furness. The unit will now take its place on the build line as we continue construction on the next generation of deterrent submarines for the Royal Navy.
