The collision at sea of China Coast Guard 3104 and PLA Navy 164 in the vicinity of Bajo de Masinloc in Zambales, Philippines. Before this, the Chinese navy and coast guard ships nearly collided twice trying to outmanoeuvre BRP Suluan of the Philippine Coast Guard. Apparently, if they cannot hit one of theirs, they hit their own.
A critical national defence asset costing more than £1Bm, HMS Ambush has been alongside in Faslane and not put to sea in nearly 3 years. It is believed she has been robbed for spare parts to keep other boats going.
