Early this morning US Navy vessels and aircraft along with multiple coalition navy ships and aircraft shot down 15 Houthi attack drones fired into the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

Austal USA delivered the future USS Kingsville (LCS 36) to the US Navy last week. Kingsville is the 18th LCS delivered by the company & the first U.S. Navy vessel to be named after the city.

On this day in 2003 the first Multi-Role Survey Ship was commissioned at HMNB Devonport. Both HMS Echo and her sister HMS Enterprise were built in Devon and Appledore and proved to be fantastically versatile ships. As of this year both have been decommissioned and await their fate HMNB Portsmouth.

Yesterday afternoon the US Navy shot down an anti-ship ballistic missile and 3 one-way attack UAS launched by Houthis at USS Carney in the Red Sea. Later in the evening 3 anti-ship missiles and 3 USVs were destroyed by strikes on Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen.

Video footage of the Ukrainian multi-USV attack on the RFS Sergey Kotov in the early hours of Tuesday morning. This was a very new vessel commissioned 5 months after the Russian invasion. Unofficial Russian channels report the ship sank, most of the 52 crew were rescued but 7 sailors were killed and 6 injured.
