The Navy has disclosed that the Arleigh Burke class destroyer USS Preble successfully test-fired its High-Energy Laser with Integrated Optical Dazzler and Surveillance (HELIOS) system to take out an aerial target drone.

HMS Richmond has received a key combat data upgrade ahead of supporting HMS PWLS on her CSG25 deployment. She’s the first T23 to receive the latest Link 16 system, which allows her to share vital data with other ships.
