Royal Navy nuclear-powered attack submarine HMS Trenchant (S91) surfacing through Arctic ice. HMS Trenchant surfaced in the Beaufort Sea during Ice Exercise (ICEX) 2018 to test submariners’ skills in the Arctic. Vessel Type: It is a Trafalgar-class submarine, known for being fitted with advanced Sonar 2076 systems.
