The first ROMULUS Large Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (LUSV), currently under construction by Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) in Louisiana, has reached approximately 30% completion and is scheduled to begin sea trials later this year. ROMULUS is designed around a distributed production model, allowing construction by small shipyards across multiple locations.
