The NATO Submarine Rescue System (NSRS) has taken part in an exercise to prove it can be flown by the RAF to anywhere in the world.NSRS comprises 350 tonnes of equipment that needs 27 lorries. During transport between Faslane and RAF Brize Norton, police forces provided a constant blue light presence for the convoy. On arrival, the equipment was loaded onto C-17A Globemaster and A400M Atlas cargo bay simulators.
