On Jan. 23, at the direction of SecWar Pete Hegseth, Joint Task Force Southern Spear, conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations. The guided-missile destroyers HMS Kent (D12) L, and HMS Bristol (D23) R during the 1975 Portsmouth Navy Days. HMS Bristol was the only ship of the Type 82 class of destroyers to be built.
