Ex HMS Aurora, a Leander-class frigate of the Royal Navy. The ship is pictured on the sands at Millom, Cumberland, UK. It was brought to this location in September 1990 to be broken up for scrap by Duddon Valley Shipbreakers.

The collision involving the USS Frank E. Evans (DD-754) on June 3, 1969. The destroyer USS Everett F. Larson (DD-830) is shown assisting the damaged ship. The stern section of the USS Frank E. Evans, which was cut in two during a collision with the Australian aircraft carrier HMAS Melbourne, is tied up alongside the Larson. The incident occurred in the South China Sea during a SEATO training exercise, resulting in the loss of 74 American sailors.
