HMS Mull of Kintyre was a Canadian built heavy repair ship, completed in 1945, she had extensive workshop and storage facilities. Converted to support minesweepers in 1962, she served as a static base for the Inshore Flotilla in Singapore throughout Confrontation and into 1967, including accommodation of Flotilla HQ staff and spare crew. She supported minesweepers and seaward defence craft plus servicing small ships in reserve at Singapore naval base.

The Italian battleship Roma, the third ship of the Littorio-class battleships of the Italian Regia Marina.The ship was commissioned in 1942 during World War II and was heavily armed with 15-inch guns.

She is accompanied by five submarines, three of which are diesel submarines while the other two are nuclear-powered submarines. The submarine rescue ship USS Skylark (ASR-20) is also tied up among the submarines.
